Kansas is home to eleven species of owls many living closer than you'd think. Join Chuck Otte for a closer look at these mysterious nighttime hunters and what makes them so unique.
Eleven species of owls have been confirmed in Kansas, and many of them live quietly among us. Because they’re most active at night, these powerful and mysterious birds often go unseen. In this program, Chuck will introduce us to the owls that call Kansas home and explore the features that make them such skilled and silent hunters. Whether you're a lifelong birdwatcher or just curious about what hoots in the dark, this is a chance to learn more about the fascinating lives of owls.
