"On June 8, 1966, one of the most destructive and deadly tornados in Kansas history, ripped through Topeka. If you were living in Topeka during this time, we want to hear from you! Join the library’s Local History team to share your stories with a recording option available to add your story to our collection if you are comfortable. We will then break into small groups where you can share more of your memories from the day with your fellow attendees.
Can't be there but want to share your story with the library? Contact Local History Librarian Katie Keckeisen (kkeckeisen@tscpl.org; 785-580-4514) to schedule a time to record your memories at the library."
