In-person support is available for completing Food, Cash, Child Care and Medicaid applications for anyone who needs help applying for benefits with Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF).
No registration or appointment necessary. Walk-in assistance will be available with DCF staff from 10 am to 3 pm in the Level 2 Tech Center, CoLab A.
When you attend the assistance event, please bring with you:
• All household income for the last 30 days.
• IDs and Social Security Numbers for each household member.
• Lease Agreement or Mortgage Statement
The amount of assistance eligible persons receive is based on household size and amount of income after deductions.
Another option is to apply online through the Benefits Self Service Portal and learn more directly from the Kansas Department for Children and Families.
