Local Author Fair

Meet over 20 local authors whose writing covers a range of genres including children's stories, memoirs, poetry, true crime, sports, fiction and more!

Authors who will be in attendance at the local author fair include:

• Dr. Aly - Author of children's stories including Black Heirs, I Am Beautiful, Fast Cars and more.
• Gary L. Anderson - Author of the memoir Developing a Personal Relationship with God: Learning to Operate in His Strength. 
• Kim Hurley Andrews - Author of When the Leaves Began to Unfold: The Hurley Murder Mystery, a historical fiction novel based on a real-life triple murder. 
• F. C. Appelhanz - Author of several poetry books including Mind Dancing, Valley View Farms, Embrace the Adventure and more. 
• Thomas Fox Averill - Co-editor and contributor to Kansas Matters: Twenty-First Century Writers on the Sunflower State. Author of several novels and story collections including Rode, Ordinary Genuis and more.
• Tim Bascom - Author of two memoirs, a novel, a collection of short stories and most recently the nonfiction title The Boundless Game: Soccer Stories from Across the Street to Around the World. 
• A.D. Childers - Author of mystery novel The Switch Point and speculative fiction novel A History of Madness. 
• Chelan David - Author of Stories from the Phog: Forty Years of Kansas Basketball and the memoir Beautiful States of Mind: A Father and Daughters' Pilgrimage to All 50 States. 
• Anamarie Davis-Wilkens - Author of the novel Under and Over and several collections of poetry including To See My Own World.  
• Todd Fertig - Author of Legacy: The Enduring Impact of the Negro Leagues on Modern Baseball and American Society, youth fiction title The Missionaries' Daughter and co-author of Like What You Do: The Memoirs of Dr. Walt Menninger.
• D. D. Franklin - Author of the paranormal romance novel Silver Lake: Awakening.
• William Isley - Author of fiction novel The Likeness of Sinful Flesh: A Story of Redemption.
• Duane R. Johnson - Author of the novel Herald of the Resurrection and two collections of poetry titled Evolution's Promise and Evolution's Progress.
