Are you thinking about growing your own vegetables, but don't know where to start? Let us guide you through the planning process for a successful and satisfying vegetable gardening experience.
Becky Harwick & Carol Bragdon will present this program. Becky grew up on a farm in Idaho and started gardening as a child in the family vegetable and flower gardens. As an Extension Master Gardener, she has chaired the development of the Backyard Demonstration Garden showing how to garden on a slope. She is also active in the organization’s Demonstration Vegetable Garden. Carol is a retired advanced practice nurse and adult educator. She has been a lifelong gardener, and a Shawnee County Extension Master Gardener since 2014. She enjoys growing herbs, vegetables and perennial flowers, and sharing her gardening knowledge with others.
