Stories from the Phog: Forty Years of Kansas Basketball details the rich history of KU basketball. Chelan David, a native of Lawrence, Kansas, has strong ties to the Jayhawks and his book showcases his dedication to the team. Learn about the origin of the Beware of the Phog banner, how the Rules of Basketball made its way to Lawrence, KS, and relive some of the greatest games in the history of KU basketball. Chelan's journey is filled with encounters that bring Kansas basketball to life: conversations with Bill Self, Larry Brown, Roy Williams, Devonte' Graham, descendants of James Naismith and Phog Allen, and other KU legends. Join us to hear more from Chelan about writing Stories of the Phog and the rich history of KU basketball. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
