This book club is not for the faint of heart. Come at your own risk for this special edition holiday club meeting where we will discuss Christmas time crime and enjoy hot cocoa.
Morbid curiosity, or an interest in unpleasant things, is a human reaction captivating individuals across the nation. True crime media consumption, ranging from books to podcasts to documentaries, has grown rapidly in popularity and this book club leans into that. We may also touch on topics of cults, the paranormal and history as we explore the dangerous and more frightening side of the library's collection.
This month's club meeting is a special edition holiday themed gathering. Grab a cup of cocoa and let's chat about some Christmas time crimes. Short articles will be provided to give us a common understanding, but further research can be done at your own leisure during the busy holiday season. Email kkriley@tscpl.org for more information.
