Her Story: Exploring the Lives of Strong Women
In this discussion group, we read and talk about fiction and nonfiction that highlight the courage, resilience and experiences of women past and present. This month's book, The Firekeeper's Daughter by Angeline Boulley features the story of Daunis, who is part Ojibwe, and who defers attending the University of Michigan to care for her mother and then reluctantly becomes involved in the investigation of a series of drug-related deaths. If you need a book or have questions, email dellerbrook@tscpl.org.
