Learning CenterLearn how to use the FamilySearch "Find a Person" feature, then put your skills to the test in a fun cemetery scavenger hunt.
Join us for the library program and continue on to the cemetery, while discovering a new way to explore family history and cemetery records! Participants will learn how to use the FamilySearch “Find a Person” feature to locate burial records and identify individuals in a cemetery. Once participants have learned how to use the app, they are invited to continue the activity at Rochester Cemetery, where they can put their new skills to work finding people and exploring cemetery records in person.
The cemetery activity is optional, and participants will need to provide their own transportation to Rochester Cemetery.
