Listen to the inspiring story Seeds of Change, decorate your own terra cotta pot and plant a small plant. This hands-on activity encourages creativity, environmental awareness and a love for nature.
Seeds of Change: Planting a Path to Peace by Jen Cullerton Johnson tells the tale of a young girl who helps bring positive change through planting. After the story, kids may decorate their own terra cotta pot with colorful designs. Then, they will plant a seed or small plant in their pot to take home and care for.
