Watch a performance of the musical Sale! Here! Today! Set in spring 1984 during a family's garage sale in a small NW Arkansas town, this play lovingly explores the dynamics of the Henderson family.
Loreen, the mother, is holding a garage sale in hopes of raising sufficient finds to surprise her unemployed husband Zane for their 20th anniversary with a ticket to the Road to Destruction Monster Truck Rally in Fayetteville. She is helped to varying degrees by her two children Jagger and Iona. Jagger, a recent high school graduate, has put his dream of going to auto mechanics trade school on hold to help with the financial needs of the family. Iona is once again facing the prospect of her high school prom without a date. During the sale, the three Hendersons encounter a wide variety of eccentric characters – some familiar, some complete strangers – all played by one male and one female chorus member. Facing many obstacles, Loreen and her family are able to achieve their dreams in a most unexpected manner.
