Create a unique snowflake using design software, scale it to print in about 15 minutes, slice it using Cura, then print it in 3D from filament in the Ultimaker3 3D printer.
Library staff will help you learn using group instruction, hands-on computer stations, and a snowflake design generator. Practicing hands-on with modifying and slicing 3D print files to prepare them for production. Plus, print your very own 3D printed snowflake!
Learn the basics of how to use a 3D printer including how to find project files online, convert them into G-code, and print them on library's Ultimaker 3 printer.
This class is offered as a modified intro class for people who prefer a hands-on project, or a follow up class for people who want more practice after their Intro class.
This workshop will certify participants for individual use of the 3D printer in the Level 2 Tech Center.
