In 16th-century Prague, a rabbi creates the Golem - a giant creature made of clay. Using sorcery, he brings the creature to life to protect the Jews of Prague from persecution. Organ music by Marvin Faulwell and percussion by Bob Keckeisen bring this classic film to life in the grand cathedral.

Silents in the Cathedral has been an annual community event for 25 years. The library partners with the Kansas Silent Film Festival, Inc. and Grace Episcopal Cathedral to put on this event.
