Up is an animated adventure-comedy film from Pixar. It follows Carl, an elderly widower, who fulfills a lifelong dream by attaching thousands of balloons to his house and flying to South America.
Carl accidentally brings along an earnest young boy named Russell, a boy scout trying to earn his final merit badge. As they journey through the wilderness, they encounter a strange bird and a villainous adventurer. The film explores love, loss and the importance of adventure with humor and heartfelt moments.
