Kansas author and Topeka educator A.D. Childers will talk about her work, answer questions and sign books. Event will include a short business meeting and election of Friends board.
Childers' debut novel, The Switch Point, was named one of the 2025 Kansas Notable Books - a gripping mystery filled with twists and turns that keep readers guessing. Her latest release, A History of Madness (August 2025), ventures into the realm of speculative fiction, showcasing her versatility as a storyteller.
A.D. Childers holds a master's in creative writing for educators from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is actively involved in multiple writing groups. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library, her favorite local hangout!
Following the event, Childers will be available to sign books. A selection of her books will be available on-site for purchase. Everyone is invited.
