Nonprofit Resource Workshop

Learn how Candid learning resources can help your nonprofit thrive, share tips and ask questions to spark insightful conversation with other nonprofit fundraisers in our community.

This workshop will be in person and on zoom. Those who register will be contacted in advance to encourage them to bring their current challenges and questions about nonprofit fundraising for the group.

Attend these workshops to learn about nonprofit funding resources available through the library. Each workshop features Foundation Directory and Candid resources, followed by a facilitated and coach-like conversation about local nonprofit strategies and challenges. This class is brought to you in partnership with Candid, a nonprofit that helps other nonprofits serve their communities. Skills training on specific components related to fundraising planning, writing proposals, and using Candid resources to find and connect with potential funders are available freely and anytime at Candid Learning. As a Candid community member, we offer Candid's key tools including GuideStar and Foundation Directory. Our customers can access GuideStar to research local nonprofits to support and to find services. Nonprofits seeking funding can also access Foundation Directory to find and connect with funders.
