Learn more about Mayor Padilla and about the work of elected city officials in Topeka and Shawnee County. Learn how to advocate for yourself and for your community by finding out how to contact your elected officials.
Kids, teens and adults are all encouraged to use a fill-in-the-blank template to write a letter to the Mayor. Several templates will be available for different options. These letters will not receive responses, but information on how to write a letter to the Governing Body of Topeka will be available.
Letters will be delivered to the Mayor at the Monday July 11 City Council meeting. Some letters may be shared on the social media of the library and the City of Topeka.
