The Topeka Symphony Brass Quintet is a vibrant group of musicians playing a wide variety of musical styles & genres. Most members are longtime Topeka Symphony Orchestra musicians.
The Topeka Symphony Brass Quintet has existed since the early 2000s. The group has performed throughout Northeast Kansas and appeared on broadcasts of KANU and KTWU. In addition to performing as a quintet, the members freelance in the area and have an extensive background in education.
The quintet's members are Will Cooper and Steve Patterson on trumpets, Katie Grose on French horn, Neal Purvis on trombone and Jason Tacker on tuba.
Please join us in the amphitheater in Claire's Courtyard (weather permitting) or Marvin Auditorium if we have to move inside.
